  • It has been over a year since the last Gear Progression Roadmap was done.
  • That guide was great when 100 cap was first introduced to help players transition from their 95 cap gear. But since then, many many new contents have been added.
  • This guide is made to help you progress beyond that point. And it's organized bases on the release date of the contents.
  • Before we get started, I'll assume you already read the first addition Level 100 Cap: Guide to Gear Progression and you already start farming Legendary (5+5) and Epic dungeon (2+2).
Table of Contents
The Oculus: The Sanctum of Resurrection
  • Released on May 2020, this is a 4-man dungeon added just right after level 100 cap was released. You can learn how to clear it from this The Oculus: The Sanctum of Resurrection Made Simple guide.
  • The whole point of this dungeon is to get gather enough material (Grim Seeker's Dark Soul) to get your Ditto epic piece. It's named after the Pokemon who can change to any other Pokemon.
  • As the name suggest, upon completing the quest, you can pick any epic piece you want. You can also change it to whatever as well, it would just cost some materials.
  • You can see which piece is the Ditto epic by the star indicator. As you can see, it's a huge help in progressing your character.
  • If you don't know which Ditto piece to pick, the Gear Calculator has an option to include Ditto. Just pick that and let the program do the job for you. Note that you will need input enough pieces for this option to work.

The Oculus: The Abysmal Sanctum
  • Released in June 2020, this is a harder version of the regular Oculus. You can learn how to clear it from this The Oculus: The Abysmal Sanctum Made Simple guide.
  • This content, in my opinion, doesn't really add much to your progression. Because if you're strong enough to do this hard mode, you're pretty much at the end-game already.
  • Most people do this for the epic weapon box  and Product of Wisdom recipes .
    • The  is account-bound so you can farm this on your top geared characters, then use it on your alt since you can choose class specific weapon.
    • The  can drop at low chance and can be sold for a very expensive price.
Dark Dimension: Signs of a Rift
  • Released in August 2020, this content has good intention. When upgraded all the way, it can be strong. Unfortunately, the farming time is quite long, and the effort required to get to that point doesn't not worth the trouble.
  • I have done an analysis about this and you can read about it in this Dark Dimension: An Analysis of Upgraded Level 100 Legendary Equipment
Sirocco Raid
  • Released in October 2020, this is the next big major step in your progression.
  • The main goal of this raid is to get new epic pieces. It also has another Ditto option as well, but here you can only pick in the pull of Sirocco specific pieces.

  • This raid adds 5 different sets of 3-pieces along with additional weapon upgrade. Each piece can be fused to your existing epic piece to give you more stat.

  • Each set has their own strengths and weaknesses, and the drops are purely RNG. In the Korean server, they already have Sirocco Farming Improvement added. But in the meantime, it has not reached DFOG server.
  • Below is an example of my character having 3 Sirocco Rodos pieces fused to my Bottom, Ring, and Sub Equipment pieces. Unfortunately, I'm still missing the weapon upgrade.
  • The Epic Calculator again also has Sirocco option you can choose to see which one best fit for you.
The Exile Mountains
  • Released in February 2021, this is another upgrade to your character. Here instead of upgrading your actual epic pieces, you're upgrading your talisman. You can think of this content as the next version Pandemonium War.
  • The cutline is about Sirocco raid green party. So you don't have to completely grad Sirocco to do this content. This is intended to do side-by-side with Sirocco raid.
  • Here of course you upgrade your current P. War talisman to its Capella's Stigma version. You can also upgrade your runes as well from Rare to Unique tier.
  • Here's an example of my talisman. As you can see, I still need to upgrade my runes.
The Night of Revelation
  • Released in May 2021, this is a side solo content of the Exile Mountain.
  • This content is not intended to progress your main character, but rather help you gear up your alts. Think of this as the upgraded version of Pandemonium Meeting.
  • I do this content to buy Prey Raid mat to upgrade level 95 gear to level 100 for my alts. You can also buy budget enchant beads as well. They provide similar stat to Sirocco raid enchants, just a bit weaker.
The Continent of Aeterna
  • Released in June 2021, this is another side content that is not intended to progress your main character. You do this content is mainly gear up your synergy characters.
  • In a nutshell, it adds 8 more epics set to level 100 cap that when used in while soloing, it will activate a set of stat. Then when used in a party of 2 or more, it activates another set of stat. This party stats provide huge synergy effects for everyone else but you (you basically a sandbag here).
  • When used appropriately, character that use Aeterna gear can get into end game contents such as Sirocco raid and later contents.
  • The best part about this content is can be easily funneled. So when farmed with enough alts, you can gear up character in no time.
  • You can read everything about this content in this Aeterna category. It includes guides about how to farm gear, which set to use, how many alts needed to farm, and why you should do this content event for DPS character.
Sirocco Challenge Mode
  • Released in June 2021 along with Aeterna, in my opinion, it doesn't really add much progression to your main character. Think of this like the Oculus Hard Mode. If you're strong enough to clear Sirocco Challenge Mode, you're already hit the class ceiling.
  • Really the main rewards from this mode are Chest of Immateriality, new Product of Wisdom, and a show-off aura.
  • Regardless, you can learn how to do this content in this Sirocco Challenge Made Simple guide.
Black Purgatory
  • Released in July 2021, this is another major upgrade to your character. This content provide 2 type of new materials.
  • Ore of Despair , which is used to change the modifier (via rolling) on the equipment slots that can be fused with Sirocco epic (i.e. Weapon, Bottom, Ring, Sub Equip). Each roll will take 165 Ore and 20k gold.
  • Fearsome Eye , which is used to maximize that modifier you rolled with Ore of Despair. Maxing each slot will require 13 eyes.
  • For example, I rolled the target option for my weapon of Additional Att. Damage. I can use the 13  to max this modifier to 30% at guarantee success rate.
  • These stat that you rolled are independent of your sirocco piece's stat. So you can basically roll for whichever modifier you want that best fit your character's needs.
  • If you don't know which stat to roll for, again, the Epic Calculator also give you the recommended stats to roll for. It basically tries to equalize all the modifiers your sets provide so you can maximize your damage output.
  • Of course for this recommendation to work, make sure you select the Black Purgatory options in the calculator.
Grave Tower
  • Released on September 2021, this is another side content that doesn't really add much to your progression. Instead, it's designed to gear up your alts. This tower is extremely hard, so don't expect to get very far.
  • The idea is you send your strongest characters here to gather "Old Golden Coin" to buy stuff from the shop. Really the item you want to buy is the epic pot.
  • The great thing about this pot is that you can pick and choose which weapon type you want to buy. For example, if I want Zanbato on my Sword Master, I can just buy the Zanbato pot. Since there's only 2 level 100 epic Zanbato, I at least have 50% chance if getting the weapon I want.

Ozma Raid
  • Released in October 2021, this raid is another big step to your progression.
  • The concept is similar to Sirocco raid, where you get new epic pieces to fuse to your existing gear. In Sirocco, you fuse with Weapon, Bottom, Ring, and Sub Equipment. In Ozma, you fuse with 5 more slots: Head/Shoulder, Belt, Shoes, Necklace, Magic Stone.
  • Ozma raid also comes with its Ditto piece, but the major different is the Holy Grail of Faith system, where you can reroll your pieces while filtering out which pieces you don't want.

Changelog

  • 11/21/2021: Added Grave Tower and Ozma Raid
