• This page provides various information for new players to help them through the game.
• It is outline based on how you progress, from first log in to leveling to level cap, and what to do after hitting that max level.

Before 1st log-in

• Steam vs. DFO client?
• Doing a quick Reddit search and you can tell that there are lots of problem with Steam. Use the official game launcher is highly recommended
• Is this game Pay-to-Win?
• Can get into end game as free-to-play, just takes longer. Or you can whale and be top dps.
• Visit Arad for its 60+ classes. Stay at Arad because you blow your saving to Neople.
• tl;dr Yes and No

1st log-in

• Which Server?
• Most players are on Cain
• The servers are based on different location
• Can still interact with players in the other server (e.g. raids, party, guild)
• Can also mail things to the other server if you have multiple characters in both servers.
• Which Class Do I Pick?
• Look up videos of game play first
• AegisRick 86 cap and 90 cap leveling series. Definitely not the optimal ways to play each class but good job at providing brief overview of play style
• The game promotes playing multiple characters and has multiple system that you can funnel your resources into one character. Don't worry too much for now, most people don't really play just 1 character.

Getting to Max Level 110

• What's the level up general timeline?
• From level 100 thereon to level 110, basically just follow scenario quests. If you have NeoPremium, it should take you about 2 days or so to get from 100 to 110.
