ExStream Confirmations - Feat. Live Director Jong

  • DFO ExStream is a traditional live stream from the DFOG developer team where they showcase what contents, event, and sale are coming on the following week.
  • The following are confirmed to be released on the next weekly maintenance (May 30th).
  • We have been working on player communication though Director's Note - May 2023. Has not been practicing my English much though.
  • New content soon, your main is 44k fame, what do you have plan for us?
    • We do have a lot to talk about. We will talk about fame distribution among our player, what comes with Archmage, and what coming on 2nd half of this year.
  • What's our fame distribution?
    • We're monitoring how our players play DFO. In April 18th, we released 2 big events to prepare for Archmage, and we can see that amount of players with required fame has increased tremendously (especially 33k ~ 36k). The main reason we did these event is to allow more adventures to access content. We're repairing event for players with 38k ~ 40k fame.
    • As for buffer, many have reached the early 40k fame, and more players were able to enter bakal raid. For newly created characters, we see that many were able to enter Ispins and Total War.
    • For Ispins Party Play Statistics, less people are playing solo, and party play has increased. There's was an increase in party play in Total War. So the buffer event has a good effect in party play but we still have a long way to go. Overall, fame has increased tremendously for our players. We will continue looking at these fast patches to help players access higher fame contents.
    • In order to enter Bakal after Total War, you really need to raise about 6k fame and need fusion equipment. So we scheduled for Archmage's Hall of Dimensions for next Tuesday.
  • What's this update?
    • This is a legion dungeon that act as stepping stone to help players enter Bakal Raid. Entry about 38k fame and item option level drop at 63~70. You can obtain Special Equipment Fusion which can increase your fame by about 1,000
    • Here we have a new difficulty called Transcendent. It's a challenging content since many players has already entered Bakal raid, so we want to provide a difficulty for those. We hope you enjoy this content along with its great storyline.

  • Anything else you want to add?
    • I'm aware of the negative reviews of DFO Steam version. I'm sorry for that. So we're reviewing these and planning to provide improvements for the future. We're going to improve download speed through how our client are downloaded through steam.
    • We're working on the ban aspect as well along with bot detection improvement. We're also working on outdated DLC and achievements. We don't want steam users to feel left out.
  • What about API?
    • Still under development. We must not allow wrong info to be released so we're taking extreme caution with this. We have 5 teams working on this and will update you in July. We hoping to get this done late July or early August.
    • DFO API list include server info, character search, basic info, equipment, buff info, etc. (similar to what we have with KDnF)
  • Anything else?
    • We're planning to make changes to our Cinematic Trailer for our players. They will have English dub so I'm very nervous about this. The first one will be archer cinematic and will be released on YouTube.
    • Beside trailer, for now, we will work on voice for stories in 110 cap. We won't create whole new animation, but we aiming to create a compilations with all animation and voice in one. Our media team is discussing on how to do this.
    • As for Neo Awakening Artbook, we manage to have some for global users. We plan to incorporate this into events later in July. Previous artbooks were distributed to Fan Art event and various Art Content Creators, but we plan to provide these artbooks to other users as well.
    • Lastly, thank you for staying with us the entire stream. We want to create a game where our users enjoy it. Our dev team is working hard and thank you for the support. We want to give you a small gift through Seria's Special Shop (contract and option growth ticket)
