  • Korean Name: 이슬을 감춘 자
  • This is a Boss in  The Archmage’s Hall of Dimensions, a Legion Dungeon in level 110 cap.
  • Third row is his weakness. Forth row is Elemental Resistance. Fifth row is Aliment Resistance. The second picture is transcendent difficulty. Credit to Pata from GBL Discord Server.

  • The battle with this boss has a lot of different elements depends on the phases, as follows
    • Phase 1 - Grass, Fire
    • Phase 2 - Water, Earth
    • Transcendence - Metal
  • From the moment Mayer appears, he creates a barrier around the map. This barrier acts as teleportation so you can dodge his various patterns.

Phase 1
Grass and Fire Patterns
  • In the first phase, Mayer freely moves between the elements of Grass and Fire, showing patterns using the compatibility of the two elements. Small elements are generally scattered and large elements are used to intercept the user and cause wide range damage. In the meantime, there are patterns that use intermediate partition walls to block spaces and bombard users.
  • These are your basic dodge the red area patterns. However, when he do a grass pattern, you will see green spot on the floor. If fire pattern is casted after, the fire will also burn grass area and cause damage there. Generally, dodge the fire area first, then dodge the grass area.

  • Tile Pattern: He cut the map in multiple rectangle area. You can only move around using the teleportation barrier. As you can see in the example below, use teleportation to dodge various fire and grass damage area.

  • Grass Block Pattern: Pretty simple, you're on the damage side of the map. Simply use the barrier to teleport to the other side to avoid taking damage.

  • Fireball Chase Pattern: The fireball will pick one member and chase them. It slowly track a distance, stops, and then rushes forward causing a large explosion. You can avoid it by using teleport barrier.

Phase 2
Water and Earth Element
  • Unlike phase 1, these 2 elements don't interact with each other. So you can see which one is which, e.g. raining on the map or rock circling Mayer.
  • Water Cannon Pattern: Summons two droplets that fire ray of water on x-axis that rotate. The only way to dodge this is to use teleportation barrier. Afterward, the droplets make it rain everywhere, be sure to dodge the red area here.

  • Shower Pattern: He summons 2 big drops, you can use these as umbrella to dodge the rai damage. There are 2 variation, vertical and diagonal rain. Stay under the droplet to dodge vertical rain. Stay on the side of droplet to dodge diagonal rain. (Tip: you can tell the direction of diagonal rain by looking at the droplet's shadow)

  • Magic Circle Pattern: There are multiple variation for this pattern. But bottom line, he summon big circle that pool rain in its area. Jumping on the circle multiple time will break it.
    • Tip : If you're on the ground, stepping on one of the smaller bubble will launch you up. If you launch yourself at any point, land on Mayer will decrease his neutralization gauge.

  • Tile Pattern: Similar to phase 1 pattern. He summon the big bubble first. Use these big ones as umbrella to protect yourself from the rain. Afterward the big bubble will explode, so use the teleportation barrier here.

  • Headbutt Rock Pattern: When you see him summon floating rock, jump underneath it a few times to break it. This will decrease the neutralization gauge.

  • Rock Spin Pattern: He summons 6 rocks that spin around. There are 2 variations here. Simply stay out of the red area.

  • Tile Pattern: This rock pattern is quite simple. The rock slam down first, causing area damage, then cause damage around it. Then float in the air. Headbutt the rock 3 times to break it. Break as many rock as you can because it decrease the neutralization gauge.

Transcendence Difficulty
Metal Element
  • Metal element will take place at phase 3.
  • Concentrate Magic Pattern: The whole floor will glow brighter and explode when the cast bar is done. You can dodge by staying on the empty space.

  • Cog Pattern: There are multiple variations. The vertical ones will go across the room. Easy to dodge since you can see the red are.
    • The horizontal version is more tricky, but you can jump on the cog as it go buy. These horizontal one will appear after the diamond exploded.

  • Extinction Magic Expansion Pattern: He summon a big giant energy ball in the sky. You need to headbutt it 6 times (solo) or 10 times (party) by jumping on the horizontal cogs. Complete pattern will get 20% neutralization gauge reduction and some groggy. NOTE: During this time, many small energy sphere will fall from the sky and interrupt your jump, so avoid those.
