- This page outlines how this Talisman Popularity is determined.
How Do I Translate Talisman Name?
- In a nutshell, I used 3 different resources to compile that list.
- https://dunfaoff.com/equip_chart.df? is where you can find the popularity of each talisman for every class. "탈리스만" means talisman.
- The next resource is https://namu.wiki/. This is where I copy and paste the name of the talisman from dunfaoff to see which talisman it is. I do this in order to minimize any potential translation errors. For example: The top talisman is "맹룡선풍참" from dunfaoff.com, which is talisman 2.2
- In case you didn't know, the way namu.wiki organizes the talisman is based on level, which is the same as dfowiki.com. So by using these 3 sites, I can tell exactly which talisman is popular in Korea with little to no translation error.
- In the case that I have any doubt, I actually go to the talismans and compare their stats and details. As an example below, I can clear tell these two are the same.
How Ranking Are Determined?
- For me, any talisman that has a significant difference is considered more popular.
- If they are within 0.5% of each other (example top 2 below, 14.5% vs. 14.2%), I consider them to be equally popular.
- So using the procedure mention above, I am able to make a popularity ranking for every class in the game. As an Berserker example below, is as popular as . Then both are more popular than , then , then .
