- As stated in the Exstream confirmation, DFOG will get full Farming Improvement Update. With this patch, Ghent will yield more Token and the cost for Unique gears will be reduced. Here I'll do some quick math to see how much gold you can earn from here.
What QoL
- Each run will now yield x1.5 times more Token, AND Ghent unique gears (including weapon) will have the cost reduction from 600 to 400 Tokens. Basically you can buy more Weapon to resell. These heavy bulk weapon (e.g. Zan, Cannon) can be sold for almost 30k gold each.
- If you didn't know, KDnF daily reward count is 6 per day, and DFOG is 20 per day.
Quick Math
- Belows are some of the data I have gathered for my previous comparison, using Aiolite price of 4,183 gold. Each of the data row is 20 runs.
- If Ghent get the QoL Patch:
- For 20 runs, your average Token earning will goes from 5,589 → 8,383.5
- Which mean you can buy 20.9 weapons to resell, which give you about 625,997 gold.
- Add that to your average raw gold earning 609,727 will give 1,235,723
- Compare that to Stormy Route average 20 runs:
- 1,235,723 (Ghent) vs. 983,771 (Stormy), that's about 25.6% better and Ghent really require no gear to clear
What about Roschest
- Well, from my data, Roschest gives 1,260,294 gold per 20 runs. Using 16,600 as Time Crystal price.
- If we get Ghent QoL, 20 runs can give 1,235,723 gold, that's a 1.98% different. Literally Ghent will become the BEST GOLD FARMING spot.
- This would have huge impact on the game's economy for our server. Because why would I gear up 12/12 to farm Roschest where I can just farm Ghent in Unique gears that I can obtain in like 1 day? I'm sure farming bot would love this.
- Again, these are just in theory. If we actually get it, I'll definitely run some number.

I was thinking about this too, since you only have to do weeklies once to get the same amount of rewards that means people will have more FP to spend on farming and such. The price of Time Crystals might go up because of the new dungeons but the time investment to gear up and do the Roschest dungeons is still really high compared to just doing Ghent, which even ungeared characters can clear in about 20 mins.
ReplyDeleteYes,sure korean version has 6 rewards per char per day but dfog ghent token reward for one run is ~50 so we actually got an nerf to gold farming and gearing.
