An Epic A Week, How Many Alts Are Needed to Make the Transfer?

•  Ever wonder how much effort is needed to make that weekly transfer? Wouldn't it be nice to be 12/12 in 3 months?
• Assuming you only have 156fp per alt, this article will show you how many characters you need to play.

Required Materials

• The mats for weapon is a bit cheaper, but here I'll do the math for other slots.
• In a nutshell, 2 notable materials are 168 Epic Souls  and 125 Wisdom Crystal .

Epic Souls

• How in the world can you get 168  in a week?
• Your 1st main source is from raid, capping weekly Undaunted Determination  will get you 40 . You can read more about it in this How to Cap Weekly Undaunted Determination post.
• 2nd main source is Dawning Crevice (DC), I only started collecting data for only 200 runs, so far, you can expect to get at least 8  per 50 dungeon clears (aka 25 characters), assuming you have the worst luck and not having any epic drops. I have details how to convert these materials into epic souls in my Gold Farming guide. Think of it this way, for every character you do DC on, that's enough mats for about 0.32 .

• So to get the remaining 128  in 7 days, you will need to do daily DC on at least 57 alts to get enough mats.
• The 3rd way for this to farm gold and buy Product of Wisdoms (PoW) then dissemble them. If farming DC on 57 alts is not enough work for you, the more stormy you farm, the more PoW you can buy and grind for more souls.
• 156fp will only get you 19 stormy runs, and let's say you do your daily 2+2 and 2 DC runs, that'll leave you with 13 stormy runs per character.
• Looking at my Stormy Route: Sirocco "Nerf" Debunked data, 13 runs will get you roughly 775k. With PoW price about 1 million gold each, you can expect to get about 3/4  per character.
• If you add the average soul gain from DC to this method (0.32+ 0.75), you can expect to get about 1  per character (aka, do 2+2, then 2 DCs, then spent rest of fp on stormy, then sell all drop and ).
• So if you're following this path instead, you can get 128  by doing about 18.3 alts per day. (Pick your poison, 18 alts on 2+2 DC stormy daily or 57 alts on just DC daily).
  

Wisdom Crystal

• 125 Wisdom Crystal  is 12,500 Wisdom Crystal Fragment , which is about 1,785 needed per day.
• There're 4 main dungeon sources of : Guide of Wisdom, Basement of Pain, Black Shrine, and Oculus. Beside Guide of Wisdom, the other 3 dungeons give , which can be converted into  at 1:1 ratio from NPC Loton.
• Looking at my Black Shrine and Basement of Pain: Result of 1,000 Dungeon Runs data, you get about 61  per day, doing that 7 days a week and add reward from your 2 weekly Oculus runs (46  each run), you get about 518  per week per character.
• So 125  will require you to do daily 2+2 and weekly Oculus on about 24 characters. Assuming you don't do any Guide of Wisdom at all. That calculation doesn't include the 60fp needed for weekly Oculus runs per character, so you're looking at even more stormy farming.

TL;DR

• To transfer 1 non-weapon level 100 epic per week, you will roughly need:
• For : Cap 4,000  through raids. Then full 156fp burn on 18 alts daily or DC on 57 alts daily.
• For : Do daily 2+2 and weekly Oculus on 24 alts.
• As you can see, the  is really the bottleneck in this process. Not many people do Oculus on 24 alts, let along waiting on pub parties to fill up.
