- Undaunted Determination is a great way to funnel your characters.
- Ever wonder why many veterans cap them weekly? This article outlines this process in details along with my example.

What is Undaunted Determination?
- It is a universal reward for clearing raids (e.g. Fiend War, Prey, Sirocco). You can get up 4,000 per week.
- You will get different amount of based on the type of mode you do.
What is it Used For?
- is primarily used to buy epic soul boxes from the raid shop and RNG reward from "Raid Special List".
- You can access the raid shop though the main DFO menu.
- Through NPC Magar, you then can trade each for 20 , which you can use to run Guide of Wisdom to roll your RNG for level 100 epics.
- As you can see, this is a great way to funnel your resources into a character you want to gear up.
How to Cap Weekly Limit
- Unfortunately, each character can only get 650 , so you will need at least 7 characters to cap this weekly limit.
- Another thing, due to weekly raid entry limit (2 per raid per character), you will need to do more than 1 type of raid. For example, doing only Sirocco on 7 characters will only give you 2,800 so that's not enough.
- So how much raid do you need to do? I'll break it down based on the type of player using the least amount of effort.
- If you can do Sirocco, you can do Prey raid.
- Using 7 characters, you only need to 14 Preys and 6 Siroccos.
- With 7 Sirocco ready characters, you can enter easy 4-man Prey party, if you can find a group to people to do your Prey train, you can knock it out easily and quickly.
- These are the type of characters that are strong enough to enter 8-man prey party. Usually a mix of level 100 legendary and epic sets.
- Of course, if you can do Prey, you can do Fiend War, using 7 characters, you need 14 Preys and 10 Fiend Wars. Technically 8 Fiend Wars are enough to cap, but since you cap at 650 per character, you will need the 2 extra Fiend Wars.
- Since Fiend War is a lot easier, you could potentially do 14 Fiend Wars and 11 Preys instead. Again due to cap 650 per character, you will need that extra Prey.
- Technically speaking, having full level 100 legendary gear should be enough to do Prey raid. However, with pub raid nowadays, you will have hard time getting into 8-man party, let alone 4-man party, and 12-man party is very rare.
- So potentially, unless you want to wait a long time for a 12-man prey party, you can only do Fiend War here. And you will need more than 7 characters, 14 to be exact (aka 27 Fiend Wars).
- In the other hand, asking a new player to make and play 14 characters is extremely UNREALISTIC. So my advice is if this is you, don't worry about this process yet.
- You can look at my Top 12 Progression and judge for yourself.
- For me, Sirocco pub raids take way too long to fill up. So I only do it on 1 character. Therefore most of my raiding to cap this is from Preys and Fiend Wars.
- On the weeks that I'm busy on the weekend, I do about 13-14 Fiend Wars on Wednesday, about 8-9 Preys on Thursday, 1 Sirocco each on Friday and Saturday.
- On the weeks that I'm free on the weekend, I do about 10-11 Preys on Thursday, 1 Sirocco each on Friday and Saturday, then 7-8 Preys on Saturday.
