Improvements and Changes
2nd / Neo Awakening Quest Renewal
- Dev's Note: Hello, Adventurer, this is Dungeon & Fighter Story Manager No. 6. After the Hall of Dimension update, it has been a while since I greeted you through the renewal of the 2nd Awakening / Neo Awakening quest.
- As of now, there are 17 adventurers in Dungeon & Fighter, and they are growing step by step into 67 different classes through their own methods. And ‘awakening’ serves as a turning point in character growth. You can directly feel the growth as your character's abilities and skills change before and after awakening.
- In the scenario planning team, in addition to making your characters more unique and stronger, I thought if you could directly experience what kind of story each class grows through, wouldn’t many adventurers be able to enjoy the game by immersing themselves more in the world of Dungeon & Fighter?
- We also judged that this could be shown through awakening quests, so we renewed the 2nd awakening / neo awakening quests, focusing on stories for each class.
- First, we selected NPCs appropriate for each class and added new quests, making improvements so that you can enjoy different stories. Dedicated episode villages were added for each class to suit the story, and various attempts were made to make the story more immersive.
- In addition, we created an audiobook version of the character story previously introduced through DFU, and added a feature so that you can listen to it in the quest book after completing the awakening.
- And lastly, we have removed all the fatigue that occurs during the quest and all the materials needed to clear the quest, so you can focus solely on the story.
- In addition, in order for adventurers to be able to enjoy the awakening story immediately after creating their character, we plan to provide growth items through the NPC.
- I think it will be very helpful to show you a better story if you enjoy it and give us your opinions. We were able to present this update thanks to the interest and love we received from adventurers every time. Through this renewal, I would be happy if you could become even a little more immersed in the characters you cherish.
- Thank you with all my heart. Uploaded by story manager No. 6.
- Additionally, a second creative event for adventurers who enjoy stories for each class will be held starting March 14th. You can participate in a variety of topics, such as reviews (posts) about characters as well as webtoons and videos, so please give us a lot of interest.
- You can watch the new quest videos in this playlist.
- The 2nd Awakening (Awareness) / Neo Awakening (Awareness) quest will be renewed.
- Secondary / Neo awakening quests are added for each class. This quest will be added as an act quest, and existing awakening-related quests will be deleted. The existing quest item ‘Scroll of Enlightenment’ has been changed to be deletable.
- This quest is carried out through the ‘Episode Exclusive Village’.
- You can move to a dedicated village through the ‘Region Move’ function of the NPC related to each quest.
- Fatigue is not consumed when progressing through dungeons related to this quest.
- Existing characters who have already cleared the awakening-related quest will be treated as having cleared the quest, and can play through a replay.
- Some quest clear specifications will be changed to allow smooth play of awakening quests in the first server environment. Secondary awakening and true awakening test boxes will be added to the NPC shop.
- The awakening (awareness) function has been added. Characters who skipped the 1st / 2nd / Neo Awakening / Awareness quest can awaken / Awareness through the Awakening / Awareness button at the top of the skill window.
Quest Book Renewal
- Dev's Note: A renewal has been carried out to replace the outdated resources / UI of the existing quest book and improve various inconveniences.
- As the story and content are continuously updated, the number of loaded quests gradually increases, but in the existing quest book, it is difficult to see at a glance what quests are currently available and it is difficult to determine what to proceed with first.
- To improve this, all quests are displayed separately by season so that quests that are important for character development and content entry can be highlighted according to the character's current season and content.
- The quest book is renewed. Seasons are applied to the quest book.
- The season consists of a total of 15 seasons. It consists of 13 seasons, 2nd awakening, and neo awakening based on various events in the game.
- All seasons except Season 1 are locked, and you can unlock them by completing Act Quests.
- For existing characters, the season unlock is automatically applied according to the level of progress in the act quests that have already been cleared.
- You can click on an unlocked season to check quests related to that season. You can check all quests regardless of season through the full view function.
- Sub-quest achievements are displayed in the unlocked season. When you complete a subquest (episode, adventure, side story), the subquest achievement level for that season increases.
- The secondary awakening and neo awakening consist of act quests for each character's awakening (For side story characters, it is displayed as self-awareness or true self-awareness.)
- If you have cleared all of the corresponding Act Quests and the character has been awakened, you can listen to the audiobook through the Story tab.
- Tabs are added for each season as shown below.
- Season: You can check the quests included in the season.
- Recommendations: You can check important recommended quests related to content progress and character spec upgrades.
- Special: You can check quests for special content/system that are separate from the season progress.
- Replay: You can check already completed acts, episodes, and guide quests.
- Story: Displayed only during the Awakening season, you can enjoy character illustrations and audiobooks. However, this is only available to awakening/awakening characters who have completed the awakening/awakening quest.
- The ‘View only appropriate level quests’ function will be deleted.
- 'Help' is added.
- Additional changes:
- Due to the quest book renewal, the improved UI will be applied to the ‘NPC request window’.
- You can skip adventure quests using the ‘Clear Current Quest’ function.
- However, as with existing functions, it requires clearing once per account.
- Among adventure quests, quests that are 'can only be performed once per account' and quests connected to them cannot be skipped.
- When skipping an adventure quest, a brief story is displayed as summary text.
- When an Act Quest is cleared and a quest that can be completed appears, a quest information pop-up window will be displayed.
- The quest's category image is replaced with a new resource.
- In the case of quest information that requires a certain reputation level or higher, the guidance text will be displayed in green when the reputation level is achieved.
- Hidden quests will be changed to be included in the side story category.
- Adventure Milestone Changes
- Episode quests will be changed to be displayed on the top milestone.
- For quests that cannot be accepted due to fame restrictions, the text “Can be accepted when clicked” is displayed in red.
- An issue where the New notification, which is displayed when an available quest appears, disappears when moving to the character selection window or other channels has been fixed.
- The quests below will be deleted.

- Dev's Note: In the case of <avatars, auras, creatures, titles, and weapon avatars> that were paid out as events or not for sale, it was difficult to check the designs in the game.
- We added the <View Appearance> button to some boxes because we thought it was necessary to provide a function within the game rather than checking the appearance through other means.
- When you select the button, you can check various motion-specific designs through a pop-up window, and the items exposed for appearance viewing will gradually expand.
- Added box component appearance view
- A ‘View Appearance’ button has been added when using some boxes and previewing components.
- Target items: Avatar box, title box, creature box, aura avatar box, weapon avatar box
- When you select the View Appearance button, a pop-up will be displayed allowing you to check the appearance of each item. You can change character motion through the arrow buttons. You can exclusively check the appearance of the selected avatar through the basic mannequin mode button. Below are some examples:
- Avatar Link: When checking the avatar information linked to the chat window, an appearance view pop-up is displayed. You can check the appearance by changing the motion using the arrow buttons. Here's the before and after.
- Avatar quick menu - Avatar preview: When you select an avatar in your avatar inventory, the ‘Avatar Preview’ menu is displayed.
- It has the same function as the appearance view pop-up.
- Motion can be changed using the arrow buttons.
- You can exclusively check the appearance of the selected avatar through the basic mannequin mode button.
- When you change the mouse wheel over the icon or name area of the item you are currently viewing, you can change and preview the avatar design of the same part you have.

Added Ability to Share and Apply Game Options / Skill Settings
- Dev's Note: Previously, when sharing my own skill build, I had to go through the cumbersome process of taking and sharing screenshots one by one.
- In order to improve this process, we have added the 'Skill Sharing Function' that we mentioned previously. Now I can share my skill tree anywhere.
- If you have the skill code for the character you want, you can apply the skill tree and quick slot to your character.
- When the live server is updated, the function to retrieve the skill code after searching for a character on the public homepage will also be updated.
- In addition, we added the 'Game Settings Management' function to improve the inconvenience of changing the PC you play on or having to set each game setting for each character.
- Through this function, you can save your settings as a local file or create an in-game preset.
- A feature has been added to easily set up the client environment.
- Add skill sharing and application functions:
- A skill code feature that allows you to share skill trees has been added.
- If you press the button at the bottom right of the skill window, a pop-up will open where you can copy the skill tree.
- You can share your skill tree in the chat window through this pop-up.
- When you press the [Copy] button, the skill code will be copied to the clipboard.
- If the skill code is copied to the clipboard, you can paste it wherever you want.
- The ability to apply other characters' skill trees and quick slots is added.
- Only skill codes of the same former character can be used.
- If the skill code is copied to the clipboard, you can apply it by clicking the button in the skill window.
- Depending on your choice, you can apply only the skill tree or both the skill tree and quick slot.
- After loading the skill tree in the skill window, you can save it by pressing the [Apply Skill] button.
- Before loading and saving a skill tree, you can check how much your skill level changes compared to the existing skill tree.
- If you cannot learn by stealing because you have not completed Alberto's quest, you cannot apply the skill code of the character who set up learning by stealing.
- If you try to apply the skill code of a character whose level is higher than your own, the skill tree will be applied within the SP limit you currently have, excluding skills that cannot be learned.
- A function to revert the skill tree to its previous state has been added.
- If you have saved a skill tree that you do not want or do not like the changed skill tree, you can return to the previous skill tree by pressing the button at the bottom right of the skill window.
- However, if the client reconnects, the previous skill tree information will be deleted.
- Official website: Adventurer World → You can copy the skill code of the character you searched on the character search results page.
- The character you want to copy must connect to the client once to update the information.
- After the update, the skill code of a character that has never been logged in cannot be copied.
