DFOArchive: [Korea] Bit and Legend

As mentioned in the October's Director Note, this is the sequel event from the previous Arcade Fighter Online mini-game. In Global version, this is called Arcade Legend Online.
Here I will summarize the event, provide some tips and tricks, along with material tables and quest guide. Curtesy of wonderful KDnF Casters.

General Information

This sequel uses the same concept as the original. In this edition, instead of raising multiple characters and have no control over where they go, you now control the character.
In a nutshell, you collect materials, craft stuff, then clear higher level dungeon. Ya know, basically like every MMORPG out there.

(1) This is your character info bar. It include info like gold, HP, potion, and Fatigue points.
(2) Alert center. It basically notify you when something new is available
(3) Mini-map
(4) Your character. You can use the arrow keys to walk around.
(5) Tool bar, include things like character info, inventory, achievement, etc.

This part is very self explanatory. This is basically your character info, where you can see level, equipment, stat, etc.

That's basically it, you kill stuff, gather stuff, kill daily boss, unlock more regions. One thing to note is that in this version, you don't really build anything. All the building already placed on your town, so you will need to upgrade them to be able to buy stronger equip.

Reward Shop

The currency is called Bit Fragment, and you can get them through completing daily and achievement within the mini-game.

The shop is not bad, some of the notable ones are:

Sirocco Set Box: you select a set and it spits out a random piece of that set.
Selective Level 100 epic equipment box.
Selective Level 100 epic weapon box.
Time's Guide Stone box (100 count): You can buy 2 boxes per week and it's a 6-week event, so basically free 1,200 TSG.
Cosmetic like Face and Weapon avatar

In the Japanese version of the event, they also give you cosmetic bubble head, pets and emotes as well.

Tips and Tricks

The goblin attack speed is quite slow, so you can actually use the hit-n-run strategy. From the look of it, doing it horizontally seems to work better.

Each region boss appear once per day.
The Wooden Club from Souvenir Shop is a good starter weapon. It has 100 attack, which is stronger that the default weapon they give you. It has level 1 requirement so you can just equip right the way.

Right at the beginning, talk to Seria to complete a series of question. When done she will give you a Cosmic Soul, which you can use to upgrade the Souvenir Shop to level 2. Then you can buy "Faded Emerald Ring" which adds 435 HP and 15 movement speed (very helpful in early game).

When you're out of HP, drink from the village pond to recover.

If you don't want to manually hunt, you can put your character in auto-drive. It will take about 20 minutes to burn through 156 FP bar. If you were doing it manually, each mob kill will cost 3 FP.

The level 1 Chestplate is another good early game purchase from the Armor Shop. It cost 1,800 gold and has 48 defense.

Treasure chests are your friend. Each one is 500 gold and the estimated location are as below. The chests (red circles) will reset daily. The Blue Circles and Gray Squares are locations for quests which I'll cover later on.

Quest/Ending Guide

Quest 1: Beginning Arcade Fighter Online - [Talk to Arcade Seria and listen to her explanation]

At the beginning of Beat and Legend, there is Seria in front of the fountain in town. Talk to Seria, listen to all 1234 options, and choose the last option to finish.
For reference, in this ending, Seria's location moves to the east of the village,

Quest 2: Don't Strain Yourself - [What happens if you try to go outside the village while injured?]

Leave the village while you are recovering from an injury to get the ending

Quest 3: Too Bored to Stand Still - [Is it okay to leave the event on for 5 hours?]

AFK for 5 hours to get the ending

Quest 4: Sharan Shop's Secret - [Craft a Secret Medication at Sharan's Armor Combination Shop and talk to the Female Mage]

If you upgrade Sharan's Armor Combination Shop to Level 2, you can craft Secret Medicine 1 , which require the following materials:

1 Talisman (Pandemonium - Late Area)
10 Low Grade Elemental Crystals

Low Grade Elemental Crystal comes from Level 1 Canna's Crafting Shop. Each Crystal requires 1 Raw Cloth and 1 Raw Paving Stone
Raw Cloth and Raw Paving Stone are 125 bit gold each at the Loton's Material Shop, so this Secret Medicine will cost 2,500 gold.
You will need 100 to complete this quest (aka 250,000 gold)
Reward: 1 Grand Flores Gem I The reward is a Jewel of the Demon Realm I.

Quest 5: Toby's Helper - [Accepts all requests from Beat Toby.]

All you have to do is do Toby's request at the western edge of town by gathering materials for him

10 Goblin Leather (Grand Flores - Early Zone)
10 Kinoll's Lightning Crystals (Grand Flores - Mid Area)

Quest 6: Please Find My Dogs! - [Talking to Isabella, craft Training Sticks at Canna's material Combination Shop, and defeat the Ownerless Beasts.] (Isabella Location: Entrance to Zelva)

The training stick is unlocked at Canna's material Combination Shop level 3 and requires 5 Bird Feathers + 2 Ordinary Paving Stone + 1 Ordinary Iron Crystal
Ordinary Iron Crystals can also be synthesized in the Canna Shop and require 1 Intermediate Hardener + 1 Intermediate Iron Shard.
Requires a total of 1,000 gold.
Combine and go to the Roschest Mid Area with the stick. If you catch a beast that has lost its owner there, you have successfully trained it! A message appears. After that, talk to Isabella again for the ending.

Quest 7: There's a Liar in Front of You- [Open all 8 red treasure chests in the late Guide of Wisdom Are]

When you enter the latter part of the Guide of Wisdom, red treasure chests will stand out. Open 8 chests to complete the quest and get the ending

Quest 8: Hills' Competitor- [What if you combine 100 Needle and Yarn Sets at Sharan's Armor Combination Shop?]

This Set is unlocked at Sharan's Armor Combination Shop level 4.
Each set requires: 1 Raw Cloth + 1 Raw Iron Piece + 5 Goblin Leathers + 5 Bird Feathers
Total gold needed: (125⨉100 ) + (125⨉100) = 25,000 gold
Total materials needed: 500 and 500
Reward: Legendary Gem I

Quest 9: An Adventurer and A Secret Passageway - [Talk to the fountain in the center of the village 5 times to put something in motion]

Talk to the Fountain in the village 5 times to open The Magic Circle located in the northeast corner of the second half of the Pandemonium region.

Once in there, kill Arcade Sarpozas and collect 100 Sarpoza Cloaks . It doesn't seem to drop until you get this quest, so make sure you receive this quest first.
Collect 100 Sarpoza Cloaks and talk to The Magic Circle again to get an Invisibility Cloak . Then talk to the Fountain again to get the ending.

Quest 10: Thank You, Postman - [Bring the Mail to the mailbox in a region other than the village]

The Mail can be crafted at Secretive Tree Level 4. These Mails also requires higher quality materials, which come from Level 3 Loton's Material Shop. Craft the needed mail and deliver them to 4 locations below.
Reward: Guide of Wisdom Gem Ⅱ

Quest 11: The Secret of the Goblin Statue - [Insert Goblin Dolls to the Goblin Statues in 4 different areas.]

The Goblin Doll can be crafted from Level 5 Sharan's Armor & Accessory Combination Shop which requires 3 Intermediate Cloth Pieces + 3 Goblin Leather
Bring the Dolls to the follow 4 locations to complete the quest (some statues requires different amount of dolls). After this quest, you can use these locations fast travel teleportation.

Quest 12: Bit Alchemist - [If you buy a strange bottle in Loton's Material Shop, red lines appear in 4 areas.]

A strange bottle that can be bought in the Level 2 Loton's Material Shop. 1000 bits gold.
After purchasing them, talk to the red wire at the location below to complete the quest.

Quest 13: Explosives Are Dangerous! - [Continues renovating Strange Cogwheel in Farris' Special Equipment]

Complete this quest by crafting the Strange Cogwheel (Legendary) item in Level 3 Farris' Special Equipment
Please use the material tables above to see what needed to upgrade the building and craft the item.
Reward: Legendary Gem II

Quest 14: Will You Marry Me? - [Collect a Written Request from the Secretive Tree and bring it to the Arcade Rich Man]

Upgrade Secretive Tree to level 2 to get "Written Request", which requires 5 Superior Cloths and 2 Kinoll's Lightning Crystals .
Superior Cloths cost 500 gold each at Loton's Material Shop level 3, and Kinoll's Lightning Crystal come from Grand Flores Mid Regions
Arcade Rich Man will also ask for 10 Ordinary Cloth , Ordinary Hardener , and Ordinary Iron Piece . They can be bought for 250 gold in the Loton's Material Shop level 2 (7,500 gold cost).

Quest 15: Who Moved My Apples? - [Combine Apple Tree Fertilizer at Canna's Material Combination Shop and grow village's apple tree for 7 days.]

1 Apple Tree Fertilizer = 2 Tau Essences (Grand Flores Late Regions) + 1 Bird Feather (Zelva Early Regions)
7 Apple Tree Fertilizer , so a total of 14 Tau Essences and 7 Bird Feathers .
Note: You can only fertilize once a day. Then after this quest, for once per day, the apple tree restore all stamina.

Quest 16: A Hidden Passageway? - [Look for Red Rocks in Grand Flores, Zelva, and Pandemonium Regions]

Just find the red rocks on each map and interact with them. Destroying all the red rocks will open a passage to the west of the village with an ending. This allows you to quickly move to each passage (useful when going to catch a boss

Quest 17: Romeo and Juliet - [Talk to the village peach tree 5 times or more to start something]

Talk to the Peach Tree in the village 5 times or more, and you will suddenly discover a hidden note.
After this time, there will be a character appear near the bottom of the second half of Grand Flores. Talk to this character.

Take this letter and go to the mid-range of Grand Flores to complete the quest

Since the Game intro is only visible when you open an event after the first log in. You can basically kill client and restart the process to get this quest done.

Quest 23: I'm Rich Now! - [Collect 50,000 Arcade Gold and talk to the Secret Moonlight Tavern]

Pretty easy, just get 50k and complete the quest.

Quest 24: More Secret Medication...? [Clear the Sharon Shop's Secret ending, and then talk to the Arcade Male Mage to put something in motion]

After completing Quest 4: Secrets of Sharan's Shop, talk to the Male Wizard guy to start.
He will ask for 100 Sharon Shop's Secret Medication 2 , which can be unlocked from upgrading Sharan's Armor & Accessory Combination Shop to level 3.
Each Secret Medicine II requires 5 Low Grade Elemental Crystals , 5 Medium Grade Elemental Crystals , and 5 Lowest Grade Elemental Crystal . These Elemental Crystals can be crafted from Canna's Crafting Shop (These Cloth and Paving Stone can be bought from Loton's Material Shop)

1 Low Grade Elemental Crystal = 1 Raw Cloth + 1 Raw Paving Stone
1 Medium Grade Elemental Crystal = 1 Ordinary Cloth + 1 Ordinary Paving Stone
1 Lowest Grade Elemental Crystal = 1 Superior Cloth + 1 Superior Paving Stone

Each Secret Medicine II will cost you:

5 Low Grade Elemental Crystals = 1,250 gold
5 Medium Grade Elemental Crystals = 2,500 gold
5 Lowest Grade Elemental Crystals = 5,000 gold
So total = 8,750 gold

So to complete this quest, you will need about 875,000 gold

Quest 25: A Arcade Singing Group [Talk to the Arcade Knight to put something in motion]

Talk to Knight, she says she need her band members to start. Then talk to the following NPC then go back to Knight to complete the quest.

Female Slayer - southeast of town (near the entrance to Zelva)
Female Gunner - Southwest of town (near the entrance to Grand Flores)
Thief - Northwest of town (near Canna's Crafting Shop)

Quest 26: Poor Construction Exposed - [Destroy the strange rock in the corner halfway through Grand Flores]

Just find this rock and break it to get the ending

Quest 27: A Arcade Singing Group 2 [Clear the Arcade Singing Group ending, and then talk to the Arcade Knight to put something in motion]

After completing Quest 25, talk to Knight again to start. Then craft the Power Supply from Canna's Crafting Shop level 2
1 Power Supply = 5 Precision Data Chips + 1 Luke's Research Material
1 Precision Data Chips = 3 Data Chips (From Canna's Crafting Shop)
Data Chip can be obtained from Zelva late regions and boss area
After crafting this device, speaking to the microphone right in front of the entrance to the Guide of Wisdom, select #1 to complete the quest

Quest 28: Arcade Master's Ordeal - [Open all the fields, and then talk to the Arcade Master to put something in motion]

You must open up all the maps to complete this quest
Talk to Beat Master in the Exile Mountain Area. His quest is to defeat all the boss each area.

Quest 29: Beat Girl and Seven Goblins - [Speaking to Beat Girl to start something.]

Talk to the Girl in the south of town. Her quest is to find 7 Goblins. They are scattered throughout 7 maps disguised as a green rock.
Talk to the rock to make it transform into goblin, then talk to goblin to get your token.
Collect all tokens and return to the girl

Quest 30: To the Arcade Depths - [Clear the Starting Arcade Legend Online Ending, collect 10 endings at Level 95, and then talk to Arcade Seria]

After completing Quest 1, then complete 10 more quest at level 95 or higher, then talk to Seria.
Then you will be given the souls of the 5 bosses you have defeated so far, and with them you can talk to the sign in the corner of the village to create a path to the bottom of the beat.

Quest 31: Path to Roschest - [Reach Guild Management Office Level 3, and the Character level 95, Talk to Fighter in Roschest to put something in]

Once you hit level 95 and got your Guild Management Office to level 3, Talk to the Fighter in Roschest to start.

Craft the 5 Energies from Secret Moonlight Tavern level 2
Reward: Exiled Mountains Gem Ⅱ , and Roschest region is also unlocked

Quest 32: Toby's Homeland - [After the Toby's Helper ending, look for suspicious things about Toby]

After completing "Quest 5: Toby's Helper", talk to the real Toby near the south of Grand Flores early area. After that, go back to the village and talk to the fake Toby to get the ending.
