Altaholic, the Art of Funneling

• DFO sure is a game that promotes playing multiple characters. And with the Farming QoL Improvement coming up on the horizon, there're now even more ways to funnel your resources.
• Do you want to learn how to funnel? In this article, I will show you the many ways to can gear up your alt from Zero to Hero.

General Information

• Before we start, this Equipment Farming Improvements will be your main farming method. Basically all the character bound materials in level 100 cap will now have their account-bound version. As you can see, the more alts you have, the faster you can gear up another character..

Weapon

• Grave Tower is an option if you have highly geared characters. You can register up to 6 characters per week to gather Old Golden Coins, then use them to buy the weapon type of your choice. Since there are 2 level 100 weapon for each type, here you have 50% chance of getting the weapon you want.

• Hard Oculus is another option. You can get this Random Weapon box once per month per character, and it's account-bound. The sad thing is that pot is randomized based on the base class (slayer, gunner, mage, etc.)

• Pit of Incarceration 3,4,5 also give mat to buy weapon pot. Unfortunately, the pool for this pot is very big. For example, if you're female fighter, it will give you a random weapon among all the fighter weapon type.

• If you need to refine the weapon, Powerful Energy Improvements added account-bound version to fit your needs.
• Clearing Roschest legendary dungeon will give you account-bound Refined Powerful Energy .
• You can also buy  through NPC Jun using  and buy from Raid shop using .

Equipment

• With the improvement patch, you can now upgrade level 100 legendary to pre-selected level 100 epic sets (Mother Nature, Elementalist, Synchro sets). Legendary to Epic needs 2,000  and 100 .
• For 3+3 dungeon,  reward multiplied by 1.5 times. 50% of  will be given out as . The cost of legendary equipment is reduced to 600  each. Looking at the data from my 3+3 runs, each character can get you 60 . So doing 3+3 total 10 times will give you enough account-bound mat to buy 1 legendary slot.

• For 2+2 dungeon,  reward multiplied by 2 times. 50% of  will be given out as . Looking at the data from by 2+2 run, each character can get you about 61 . So doing 2+2 total 361 times will get you enough account-bound mat to upgrade all 11 slots. Also remember that Oculus also give . I have 25 characters that can do 2+2, so it will take me like 2 weeks to get this done.
• Random Epic Pots are your friends. They're available from NPC Dorothy and NPC Robato. They are character bound, but the materials needed to buy them comes in account-bound version ( and ). So the more 2+2 and Oculus you do, the more you can buy these pots.
• From the Sirocco Challenge shop, you can get another random pot per week.
• Also, DON'T forget your Oculus Ditto and your random epic pot from Night of Revelation too.

• Recycle unwanted epics from all your random pots. The "Chest of Immateriality" from Sirocco Challenge shop is a good option. In addition, with KDnF's Sirocco Hard mode, you can buy 2 Chests per character per week with .

• Last option for your desperate needs. If there's an epic piece you really need to complete the set-up, beside transferring the piece from another character, you can buy the epic fragments from Sirocco and Ozma raid shop. Each of these boxes will give you 50 fragments. 

Mythic

• Really the only way you can funnel this is through transferring from another character. Mythic  can be dissembled and will give 1 Light of Wisdom 
• Transferring Mythic will need the following materials. You will need 630 Elemental Crystal for earring slot instead of 420.



• Want to reroll specific Mythic line? Sirocco Hard mode got chu. You can buy up to 2 mythic kaleido boxes per character per week.

Black Purgatory Mods

• Reward Improvements were added so you can buy Ore of Despair Box  from auction hall if needed. They also added Fearsome Eye box  that let you get 2 eyes per week guaranteed.
• Mods Improvements were added so you can inherit the mod to another piece of the same slot and change the type of mods too. As you can see, the more BP daily / weekly you do, the more Ore you can funnel.

Sirocco Pieces

• The Sirocco weapon is easy, you can just funnel 220 petals for that.
• The "Liberated Subconscious Pot" is your friend. The more Sirocco you do, the more Account-bound  you can funnel.
• The "Chest of Circulation" will allow you to recycle unwanted Sirocco pieces.

• If you still can't get the piece you want, Ozma raid has Selective Sirocco box you can buy for the cost of 30 Saturated Grudge Crystal. Beside doing Ozma raid, you can get this crystal through Sirocco Hard Mode (up to 2 crystals per week per character). Really between this box and Sirocco Ditto, you will grad in no time.

Ozma Pieces

• This part is very straight forward, the only way you can get the pieces you want is to open the "Sleeping Terror Pot", then use the "Holy Grail of Faith" system to filter out the pieces.

Talismans and Runes

• Forget about the RNG with this system. The Runes / Talisman Improvements made it so that you can purchase unlimited "Capella Talisman Selective Box"
• As you can see, doing enough Exile Mountain will get you enough account-bound  to get any talismans and runes you want.

Swap Set

• Operation Hope changes make it super easy.  will be given out as , so farm this as much as your heart desires.
• S Recipe will have 100% success rate, and Abyss Fragment's purchase limit removed.

WooHoo
