- This is an event released with the update of Female Gunner 3rd Awakening on June 29th, 2021. It was quickly abused and patched up with an Emergency Maintenance.
- This article explain the situation and hopefully it can be avoided in future events.
What is the Event
- You can read the full event page here. But in the nutshell, this is a leveling event where you can pick any character and potentially level it up to max 100 in a very short amount of time.
- This type of event uses a special type of dungeon, where you can fly through everything and level up very quickly.
- The one item that was being abused was the weapon. When your event character hit level 95, they give you a selective level 100 epic weapon that has +12 reinforcement / +8 refined.
How It Was Abused
- Before the Emergency Patch, the weapon from this box can actually be transferred to another character using NPC Magar Rosenbach, and you can select event character over and over.
- So what happened was players was using this weapon to attempt +13 reinforcement. If it success, they would transfer it to their main. If fail, they would delete that event character and choose another character in the account as event character. The process is then repeat over and over.
Respond from Neople
- The problem was quickly brought up to the developer and it was quickly patch
- Personally, from my point of view, this was definitely not a bug, but rather just an oversight. It was possibly a simple human error. Regardless, I thought they did a great job at addressing the problem in such a short amount of time.
