Damage Compression
  • Due to the exponent strength of 100 cap equipment, you can now do up to trillion damage. The damage has been compressed by the thousand. Monster's HP will also compressed the same way.
  • Seria's Prayer (Lupsong) added to regular areas due to Damage Condensation change.
  • Due to this change, the display of digits in damage font is changed
  • Object and status abnormal damage of some item options is compressed by the thousand.
  • In the dungeon of the Contract of Growth, when attacking, there is a 4% chance of x500 additional damage, now is changed to x20 additional damage.
New Dungeons
  • 2 new farming dungeons added to The Elrox area: Crevice Watcher and Guide of Demise. One new system added to these dungeons.
  • They are designed support level 100 epic equipment farming so that you can challenge higher-level content more quickly.
  • It is designed so that you can acquire not only the epic/mythical equipment acquired in the guide of wisdom, but also the sirocco epic equipment.
New System: Watcher's Energy
  • Defeat monsters in Crevice Watcher will charge up this Energy. You can stack up to 300,000.
    • 4,800 Energy charged per regular Crevice Watcher dungeon.
    • 25,000 Energy charged per special Crevice Watcher dungeon.
  • Think of this Energy as extra entry materials for Guide of Demise.
Crevice Watcher
  • Think of this as your Guide of Wisdom 2.0, it will still drop epic/mythic and will consume 8 FP and 27 Time's Guide Stones instead of the usual 18 Stones like Guide of Wisdom.
  • Normal mode will start like you enter Guide of Wisdom, then you move to a portal to another dimension.
  • Special mode will look like this.
Guide of Demise
  • Think of this as your Guide of Wisdom 3.0, it will drop the normal epic/mythic AND Sirocco Epics.
  • Consumes 8 FP, 27 Time's Guide Stones and 100,000 Watcher's Energy.
  • Boss drops Epic at 100% rate and has a chance of dropping Mythic and Sirocco Epic when defeated.
  • Note: In this dungeon, you have 2 rooms that have a big crystal in the middle. Destroy it will give you some Time's Guide Stone back (look like 8-9 Stones).
Simple Math
  • So why do you want to clear this when it costs so much more to enter?
  • Well, each regular Crevice Watcher gives you 4,800 Energy. So about 21 runs will yield enough energy for 1 clear of Guide of Demise, and the boss there drops Epic at 100% rate.
    • So in the end, you can spend 594 Time's Guide Stone and 176 FP for a GUARANTEED random epic (those are the cost of 21 Crevice Watcher and 1 Guide of Demise).
    • AND a chance of mythic/sirocco.
    • AND a chance of boss intrusion.
  • So TL;DR: Spend more Stones to cumulatively get a guarantee epic and chances of mythic/sirocco piece.
Boss Intrusion
  • While playing these 2 dungeons, There's a chance for a random Boss will intrude. These bosses have a 100% chance of dropping something specific.
    • Prion: 100% chance of Epic
    • Sponger: 100% chance of Mythic
    • Rodos: 100% chance of Rodos Epic or Immaterial Essence
    • Gatekeeper: 100% chance of Gatekeeper Epic or Immaterial Essence
    • Roxy: 100% chance of Roxy Epic or Immaterial Essence
    • Nex: 100% chance of Nex Epic or Immaterial Essence
    • Assassin: 100% chance of Assassin Epic or Immaterial Essence
  • Example of Prion intrusion below:

Convenience Improvements
  • Problem: Players not know what items can be obtained where.
    • Solution: You can how check the rewards of dungeons and raids.
  • Problem: Certain content channels not show up because pre-quest not completed.
    • Solution: The channel slots will now always there but will gray out if you don't complete the pre-quest. It's good because new players can know what content is available.
  • Problem: Players new to raid shop does not know which raid entry to buy.
    • Solution: You can now buy raid entry immediately when you enter the group. If you don't have the ticket, a material purchase button will display in the raid window.
    • A material change function has been added to the raid NPC so that you can use the fusion system directly in the raid channel
  • Problem: There're lots of material in DFO, and new players will not know what's used for what.
    • Solution: Item tooltips adjusted to show where a material come from, and what's it used for.

  • Problem: In the past, only a single component box had an automatic opening function, so it was inconvenient to open one by one.
    • Solution: You can now open multiple boxes at a time (e.g. Arad Explorer Subjugation boxes)
  • Problem: Players accumulate too much equipment, including talisman and runes. It's bad to sell them one by one.
    • Solution: Batch sell button added (default as "A"). You can also change the batch setting if needed.
  • Problem: EXP problem between level 96 and 98, and you don't have quests in between either.
    • Solution: Repeatable quest like Ghent Place will now give more EXP.
    • Also added highlight for important quests.

Character Change Reorganization
  • Problem: Before, you have to level up to 15 to change the class to the subclass you want to play. Therefore new player can't directly play the subclass they wanted.
    • Solution: You can now just select the subclass you want to play. And you can click the red bottom to change the subclass (Usable for up to level 69)
  • Subclass Change UI is added and changed. A 'Back' button is added to the screen before selecting a job change.
  • After July 8, 2021, you can't create generic character.
Character Creation Screen Revamped
  • After double click on the generic class or select subclass change, you will be taken to the next screen.
  • Instead of having the old hexagon, you now have ranking bar on relevant information like difficulty, attack power, range, speed, etc.
  • When clicking the awakening name at the bottom right, it will show the illustration and gameplay examples.
