Introduction
- Tiamat was first introduced in Black Purgatory.
- Here in Ozma Raid, he is the boss of "Aventus, the Cradle of Despair", which is the Main dungeon in Crossroad of Despair.
- Defeating him will clear Crossroad of Despair.
- Tiamat has 2 phases. If HP drop below 80%, he enters phase 2 (aka he ride his horse)
- Really simple, he spawns Cocoon trapping you on the ground.
Phase 2 Pattern
- During this phase, he will continuously spawn green squares on the map. You will take heavy damage when you step on them, so you have to fight him while avoiding those area.
Ball Drop Pattern
- This pattern is similar to Taybers boss in Fallen Paradise map.
- The orb in the middle start shooting. Dodge by moving clockwise.
Slash Pattern
- Simple pattern, he does 3 big AoE slashes. Just get out of the way and remember to stay away from the green floor boards.
Main Groggy Pattern
Shadow Dance
- There's a timer under his health. When this run out, he activates the shadow dance pattern.
- In a nutshell, Tiamat basically keep cutting the map in half until you have only a few tiles to stand on. He will always cut the map in in the order of "vertical-horizontal-vertical".
- First, he run across, dividing the map into 2 sections. Then he jump to the section where you're standing on, creating more floor boards on that area. He will continuously doing that multiple time.
- You will take great damage standing on the those green tiles. So your job is to jump to the other section as he land.
- If you're good enough to survive to the end of the dance, he will enter groggy.
