[Korea] Director's Note: Emblem Reorganization and Future Direction

• This Director's Note aims to address the new changes to the Emblem System, along with introducing the Black Market System, and future direction for October and November. Here's the TL;DR

Emblem System Reorganization

• The Developer stated that many system in DFO has gone through revamp, but this emblem system is note one of them. And with the positive responds from the farming improvement patch and the sader leveling event, the demand for emblems has increased significantly. They held Emblem Week Event to help with this, but it was just a short-term solution.
• First, Platinum emblems will be made to be able to trade once, then it will become account-bound. They do this because Platinum are in short supply and with the increase demand, it's easy to abuse the market.
• Second, the UI for sundering and synthesizing emblems will be changed and hope to be made more approachable.

Black Market Sale

• As mentioned in the interview with Director Yoon back in August, "Black Market" Sales System will be added to NPC Jonathan and Pumpkin Ball.
• This is a type of sale that will not open all the time, and the type of items will depend on what they see fit based on their internal review.

Future Direction

• Synergy: The developer stated that when you start DFO, it's important that you pick the character you like, not because of its role. He mentioned his mistake back in May 2017 with the synergy patch, which created huge class imbalances. He hopes to not make that mistake again.
• Neo Awakening Renewal Update will come sometime this year (2021).
• Class Balance will continue to roll out where they see fit. 9 more classes will receive balance patch this month (October). Balance (and skill renewal) patch planned for Asura and Necromancer in November.
• Contents, rather adding new farming contents, they plan to add contents that you can do along side with the content we already have now (for example, spin off version of Arcade Fighter Online from the 15th Anniversary Event, PvE type raking event).
• In addition, Decisions unto Destiny: Remnant from Chaos, which set in the spin-off story of the Black Crusade, will set to release when it's ready.
