- Amor retexture is an easy way to boost your damage that everyone should know about. Here I will explain how it works in simple terms.
Why Retexture?
- There are 5 armor types in this game: Cloth, Leather, Light, Heavy, and Plate. Why can't we just use whatever drop? It's because classes have their own Armor mastery, which gives extra stats when you wear appropriate type.
- Armor Master is a passive skill that learned when you start to change to your subclass. In the example below, when Male Gunner become Male Ranger, he gets Leather Armor Mastery.
- So when a Male Ranger equip a leather armor, he gets extra stats. Below is the description of the passive. In total, by wearing all 5 leather armors, you can get up to 316 Strength and 15% Critical Chance. Simple damage gains for not a lot of work.
How to Retexture?
- First, walk to NPC Roger Levin in West Coast, talk to him and select "Retexture". NPC Strawberry Nose Della in Black Market can also retexture as well.
- After that, simply put in the armor piece you want to retexture, select the type of armor you want to convert into (it will ask you for some materials), then click "Retexture". That's it, super easy.
- Each retexture, depending on the armor type, will ask for 500,000 gold, 1 legendary soul, and 80 Superior material (leather, cloth, bone, stone, or iron). These leather, cloth, bone, stone, or iron materials can be easily found through dungeon runs. Pretty much all mobs can drop these.
