  • I have been doing Sirocco raid weekly since its release and I still don't have the weapon on my main. If I can't grad Sirocco in 9 months, how long will Purgatory RNG take?
  • Luckily with the new farming improvement released in Korea server, you can possibly grad in about 3 months ... if you're whale enough.
Table of contents
What is Purgatory Grad
  • In a nutshell, Black Purgatory provides 2 new materials:
    • Ore of Despair , which is used to change the modifier (via rolling) on the equipment slots that can be fused with Sirocco epic (i.e. Weapon, Bottom, Ring, Sub Equip). Each roll will take 165 Ore and 20k gold.
    • Fearsome Eye , which is used to maximize that modifier you rolled with Ore of Despair. Maxing each slot will require 13 eyes.
    • For example, I rolled the target option for my weapon of Additional Att. Damage. I can use the 13  to max this modifier to 30% at guarantee success rate.
  • Regardless of how many  you have in your inventory, since you have 4 slots to RNG roll, you will need at least 52  to max their stats.
  • So what does it take to get 52 Fearsome Eyes? Let's do some simple math.
For the Casual
  • Let's say you're the most casual player in the game. You don't farm any daily dungeons at all. The only thing you did is to do 2 Black Purgatory level 1 runs.
  • Let's also say you're has the worst RNG in the game, you will get 550  per week (275x2) with no gold  flips.
    • Lucky for you, in the recent KDnF update, you can buy up to 2 Fearsome Eye boxes  per week for a price of 630  each.
    • So with your casual earning of 550 , each week you can get 0.87 . Therefore, to graduate Black Purgatory as an extreme casual with worst RNG, it will take you about 60 weeks (aka 15 months).
    • I'm still collecting data from daily dungeon runs. But so far, each daily normal runs of 4 dungeons gives you about extra 52 . So add that to your 550  will get you about 1.45  per week, which will translate to about 36 weeks (9 months) to grad.
  • Let's say you have the best RNG, you get 292  and 1  every level 1 run.
    • 584  will get you about 0.93  per week from , adding 2  from your runs will translate to about 18 weeks (4.5 months).
    • If you add the daily farming, that will bring down to about 15 weeks (3.75 months).
  • AND that doesn't take in account for the  needed to roll for the modifier you want. I doubt many people can get it in 1 roll.
For the Whales
  • When the KDnF update hit live server, each box of 50  was sold in the auction hall for about 1.2 million gold (sauce).
  • So really, you don't even have to run the content and just buy those boxes for your weekly 2 . Therefore, to get 52 , it will take you 26 weeks (6.5 months) of buying these boxes.
  • AND to buy 52  (aka 32,760 ), you will need to spend 786 million gold.
  • AND (of course) that doesn't take in account for the  needed to roll for the modifier you want.

For the GO ALL OUT
  • What if you buy the  and has the best RNG? what then...
  • Well, in this case I will assume you do level 4, because whale...
  • Both level 4 runs give 936  and 2 . So you only need to spend 7.7 million gold to buy the remaining 324  for the weekly .
  • At this rate, you can grad in 13 weeks (3.25 months) and only need to spend about 25 million gold.
  • AND (of course) that doesn't take in account for the  needed to roll for the modifier you want.
TL;DR
  • Casuals:
    • Worst RNG + level 1 BP = 15 months
    • Worst RNG + level 1 BP + Daily = 9 months
    • Best RNG + level 1 BP = 4.5 months
    • Best RNG + level 1 BP + Daily = 3.75 months
  • Whales:
    • No BP + Gold only = 6.5 months & 786 million gold
    • Best RNG + level 4 BP + Gold = 3.25 months & 25 million gold
