[Korea] Male Gunner 5th Class: Assault

  • This update adds the 5th Male Gunner class called Assault along with the removal of synergy system. Due to this removal, they also made some changes to Aeterna Equipment.
Table of Contents
New Class: Assault

  •  Level 1 (Passive) - Assault Light Armor Mastery
    • Light Armor increases the Assault's Strength, Vitality, Spirit, Max HP, Max MP, MP Recovery, Hit Recovery, and Physical Critical Chance.
  •  Level 1 (Passive) - Alteration
    • Enables the use of Boost-type Skills which utilizes his modified body.
    • Boost skills can be canceled during the post-delay of other skills, including other Boost skills.
    • Other Advanced skills, excluding Boost skills, can only be canceled during the post-delay of Boost skills.
    • The Assault's basic attack has been changed to use a modified auto gun. Enables the use of Boost skills during sliding (dash) attacks.
    • Increases Attack Speed and Movement Speed.
    • When equipped with an Auto Gun, its Physical Weapon Atk. and Strength (including Reinforcement/Amplification bonses) are set to its Magical Atk. and Intelligence.
    • Due to being part machine, the Assault is immune to the Bleed Status. Additionally, upon death, they initiate self-destruct.
  •  Level 5 (Active) - Boost: Suppress
    • Lifts the restrictions on his modified legs and travels a fixed distance, damaging all enemies in his path.
  •  Level 10 (Active) - Dust Shot
    • Upon advancing to the Assault class, it is converted into a Physical-type skill and uses his modified Auto Gun.
  •  Level 15 (Passive) - Assault Auto Gun Mastery
    • Increases the Assault's Physical Atk. and Hit Rate when equipped with an Auto Gun.
  •  Level 15 (Active) - Aim Shot
    • After attaching rifle parts to his modified Auto Gun and raising it to shoulder level, he opens fire in the area in front of him.
    • According to Test Server info, this skill hits 7 times.
  •  Level 20 (Passive) - Sensibility
    • Upon entering the dungeon, he scans his surroundings to locate his enemies' weaknesses.
    • Increases Basic Atk., Dust Shot Atk., and Advanced Skill Atk. and increases Physical Critical Chance.
  •  Level 20 (Active) - Burst Bomb
    • After attaching grenade parts to his modified Auto Gun and raising it to shoulder level, he fires a grenade.
    • The grenade flies a fixed distance and then explodes. However, if it collides with an enemy, it explodes immediately.
  •  Level 20 (Active) - Stock Bash
    • Swings the stock of his weapon, knocking back enemies and Holding them for a set period.
    • According to Test Server info, the hold is 2.5 sec.
  •  Level 25 (Active) Boost: Body Bunker
    • Strikes downward with a heavy suppression shield and creates a shockwave, knocking back surrounding enemies.
    • A sheltered zone is created while the suppression shield persists, and within the zone, you are granted Super Armor and receive reduced damage.
    • According to Test Server info, Shield Duration is 2 sec. and Damage Reduction is -10%. The protected area is indicated by a green visual effect behind the Shield.
  •  Level 25 (Buff) - Activation
    • Activates his artificial heart to strengthen his modified body.
    • On cast, increases Basic Atk., Dust Shot Atk., and Advanced Skill Atk., and increases Attack Speed and Movement Speed.
  •  Level 25 (Passive) - Modified Dust Shot
    • Reinforces the skill by modifying the weapons used while firing Dust Shot.
    • According to Test Server info, increases Dust Shot Atk. by 20%
  •  Level 30 (Active) - Triple Gunshot
    • After attaching shotgun parts to his modified Auto Gun and raising it to shoulder level, he fires 3 consecutive shots in the area in front of him.
  •  Level 30 (Active) - Neodymium Fuse
    • Throws a bomb comprised of the powerful magnetic substance 'Neodymium.' The bomb pulls nearby enemies along the Y-axis and explodes afterward.
    • According to Test Server info, the explosion hits three times.
  •  Level 35 (Active) - Boost: Breaching Down
    • This skill can only be activated when attacking an enemy. On cast, tracks down the strongest enemy within range, charges at it with his shoulder, and fires at it with his mechanized arm cannon.
    • According to Test Server info, there is a 5 second grace period for skill usage.
  •  Level 35 (Active) - Magpiece
    • Kicks a Magpiece bomb. It flies forward and detonates, creating a series of large explosions.
    • According to Test Server info, the skill deals an initial collision damage followed by 4 explosions.
  •  Level 40 (Active) - Scorch Tactics (Scorched Earth)
    • Jumps in place while firing grenade explosives toward the ground.
    • Afterwards, he somersaults, throwing many explosives around him before he lands.
    • Enter the Forward key to jump forward and shoot.
  •  Level 45 (Active) - Direct Feedback
    • Activates his modified eye to search the area in front of him for enemies and then fires on enemies in sight.
    • According to Test Server info, this skill hits 15 times. If the skill fails to detect an enemy, it goes on a 5 sec. cooldown.
1st Awakening: Intruder
  •  Level 48 (Passive) - Retrofit
    • Having regained memories of the past and restored some of Gizel's technology, the Intruder is able to charge and release arc energy, making it easier to carry out dangerous and difficult tasks.
    • Increases Basic Atk., Dust Shot Atk. and Advanced Skill Atk, and increases Physical Critical Chance.
  •  Level 48 (Active) - Arc Discharge
    • Arc energy is stored in his body when a Boost skill hits an enemy.
    • When the arc energy is fully charged, this skill is activated. Upon use, the Intruder releases the arc energy, dealing damage to surrounding enemies.
    • Arc energy can be released during Advanced Skills, except for certain skills.
    • According to Test Server info, attacking with certain skills fills a percentage of the arc energy gauge. Certain skills fill the gauge more than others. Awakening skills grant full gauge. Arc Discharge's damage scales off of Retrofit's Level.
  •  Level 50 (Active) - Boost: Death Field
    • Strengthens his body by overloading his artificial heart. Charges forward quickly firing grenades, causing a series of explosions.
    • Afterwards, he quickly moves about the battlefield and then fires his weapon, releasing an electrical explosion.
    • Lv3 Bonus: Grants Invincibility on cast.
    • Lv6 Bonus: Electrical Explosion Size +10%.
    • Lv9 Bonus: Death Field Atk. +10%
  •  Level 60 (Active) - Boost: Dynamite Kick
    • After lifting the restrictions on his reinforced modified legs to momentarily concentrate his power, he releases a powerful kick that generates an electrical shockwave.
  •  Level 70 (Active) - Fortress Blitz
    • Fires a signal flare to summon the Reinforced Suppression Shield 'Fortress Blitz.'
    • Fortress Blitz lands in front of the Intruder, knocking away enemies and shoots at them with a machine gun.
    • A sheltered zone is created while Fortress Blitz persists, and within the zone, you are granted Super Armor and receive reduced damage.
    • According to Test Server info, Shield Duration is roughly 4 sec. (The duration of the machine gun attack) and Damage Reduction is -20%. The Shield has HP and Defense equal to 100% of the Intruder's HP and defense. The protected area is indicated by a green visual effect behind the Shield.
2nd Awakening: Ex Machina
  •  Level 75 (Passive) - Reconstruction Body / Body Reconstruction
    • Increases Basic Atk., Dust Shot Atk., and Advanced Skill Atk. and changes certain skills.
    • Boost: Suppress - Can be cast while being hit on the ground.
    • Boost: Body Bunker - Increases Shield durability by increasing its size, duration, and damage reduction.
  •  Level 75 (Active) - AT-SO Walker
    • Fires a signal flare to summon the AT-SO Walker.
    • The AT-SO Walker follows the Ex-Machina for a set duration, automatically firing on nearby enemies. At the end of its duration, it is destroyed and disappears.
    • You can board the Walker by re-entering the skill key while summoning the AT-SO Walker, and while aboard, enables the use of Basic Attacks and certain skills, while reducing the cooldown of those related skills.
  •  Level 75 (Active) - AT-SO Walker Ceasefire
    • Stops the automatic firing of AT-SO Walker.
  •  Level 80 (Active) - Raytheon Crete
    • Uses the special-modified weapon 'Raytheon Crete' to generate a powerful explosion in front of you.
  •  Level 85 (Active) - Boost: Equalis-MR
    • Summons and combines the special add-on equipment 'Equalis-MR', and then unleashes the firearm to bombard the area in front.
Neo Awakening: True Assault
  •  Level 95 (Passive) - Project: Nobel Parts
    • Having succeeded in remodeling his body and equipment based off of the Seven Shards's technological prowess, the Neo: Assault now has the destructive power equivalent to that of an entire fleet.
    • Increases Basic Atk., Dust Shot Atk., and Advanced Skill Atk. and changes certain skills.
    • Boost: Suppress - Reduces cooldown by 1 sec. and grants Invincibility to the initial cast animation.
    • Triple Gunshot - Now grants Super Armor when cast, increases attack range, and the finishing shot knocks down the enemy.
  •  Level 95 (Active) - Boost: Sonic Collide
    • Can only be cast if there is an enemy within range. Soars upward in backflip motion, and fires a guided missile from his mechanized arm at the strongest enemy within range.
    • Afterwards, he quickly charges at the attacked target, overwhelms them, and detonates them with gunpowder, creating a powerful explosion.
  •  Level 100 (Active) - Boost: Final Desperation
    • Raises the load of his reinforced artificial heart to the maximum to release an electromagnetic pulse that holds surrounding enemies, and then soars into the sky.
    • Afterwards, he missile bombards the ground from the air, condenses the energy in his mechanical arms, and unleashes an ultra-high-temperature bombardment on the enemies below.
  • Changes From Test Server
    •  AT-SO Walker: Skill effect improved and Transparency Removed while riding the walker.
    •  Raytheon Crete: Can now push enemy back.

Talisman Info
  • Lv.35 skill Boost Breaching Down: Attack turns into massive explosion when attacking the enemy, removes machine cannon attack, +128% damage, search area +10%, +17% damage.
  • Lv.40 skill Scorch Tactics (Scorched Earth): Can use at the ground, +2 shots, -17% damage, -10% cooldown, +14% damage.
  • Lv.45 skill Direct Feedback: Becomes I-frame when attacking the enemy, +14% damage, -5% cooldown, +9% damage.
  • Lv.60 skill Boost: Dynamite Kick: Changes the skill into a different motion. Moves toward to enemy and performs a powerful kick, 10% attack range, +15% damage, -10% cooldown, +7% damage.
  • Lv.70 skill Fortress Blitz: Gives 2 stacks, each skill has 25 sec cooldown, -43% machinegun attack, +10% size HP does not decrease during its duration, stays for 3 sec after machinegun attack, additional damage reduction +10%, machinegun attack +6%.
  • Lv.75 skill AT-SO Walker: +10 sec duration, 50% chance to consume additional duration time when riding, +2 riding limit, removes skill activation when riding, can cast skill while moving, +20% move speed, can drag enemy while dashing, self explosion is triggered by dashing forward when skill duration ends, explosion damage: 560% damage of the auto targeting.
  • Lv.80 skill Raytheon Crete: +10% explosion range, -10% cooldown, +14% damage.
Avatar, Creatures, and Artworks


Synergy Removal
  • DPS and Synergy will now merged into just "DPS"
  • All synergy classes will receive 8.5% buff with slight change for Male Grappler and Mistress
    • GrapplerImpact Combination.png Impact Combination, instead of giving defense reduction synergy, it will now increase critical damage.
    • MistressSeven Deadly Sins.png Seven Deadly Sins, the attack buff from using Insatiable Appetite (Left Arrow) and Arrogant Sloth (Right Arrow) will be change to be the same as Begrudging Anger (Down Arrow).

Dungeon Changes

  • Monsters' HP from raid will be reduced by 25% (e.g Ozma, Sirocco, Prey, Fiend War).
  • Monsters' HP from endgame dungeons will also reduced by 25% (e.g. BP, Exile, Dark Dimension, Oculus, PWar, Night of Revelation, Aeterna Hard Bosses).
  • NOTE: HP reduction does NOT apply to Guide / Challenge / 1-Player mode.

Arad Adventure Changes

  • Character icons will be changed accordingly. Role type will also changed to the following:
    • DPS → Single Type
    • Synergy → Area Type
    • Buffer → Support Type
  • These Type will have the following properties:
    • Single Type: Low HP, but has high attack power compared to other positions, and attacks the most forward monster first.
    • Area type: HP and attack power are at normal levels, and attacks monsters using wide area type attacks. 
    • Support type: Has high stamina, but attacks the monsters located in the rear first with low attack power compared to other positions.

Item Changes

  • When 8 or more pieces of Aetherna equipment are equipped, the character's position will change to Synergy (Unsure if this syn would provide the 34% buff. Most likely not though because it would be broken).

Tyrant Against the Sun Set

Legendary

4 set option

Condition: If your total Elemental Damage exceeds 400

Synergy: +15% → +25% Additional Critical Damage to all party members excluding yourself within 500px

Legendary

8 set option

Condition: For every 32 → 21 total Elemental Damage

Synergy: +1% Additional Attack Damage to all party members excluding yourself within 750px (up to +15% → +25%)

4 set option aura range increased to 750px


Epic

4 set option

Condition: If your total Elemental Damage exceeds 400

Synergy: +19% → +29% Additional Critical Damage to all party members excluding yourself within 500px

Epic

8 set option

    Condition: Place Flames on party members within 75px

    Synergy: 15% → 25% All Atk. to party members with Flames

    Legendary

    8 set option

    Create a Flame Field in a random location within 300px every 10 sec. to place Flames on party members.

    Synergy: 15% → 25% Bonus Damage to party members with Flames.

    Dashing Movement Speed +10% (Cooldown: 1 sec.; Max Stacks: 1)

    Synergy: 11% → 16% Damage Amplification against Named and Boss Monsters

    8 set option

    Condition: Create a Mark on Named and Boss Monsters within 750px for 5 sec

    Synergy: Attacking Monsters with a Mark will activate 11% → 16% Damage Amplification within 750px for 15 sec.

    8 set option

    Additional 9% → 14% Damage Amplification to 4-Piece Set effect

    [Equipment Option Key] will dispel Hold Resistance state of all monsters within 1000px (Cooltime: 150 sec.)

    4 set option

    Condition: When attacking a Named or Boss Monster is in Hold, Hold Immune, or Hold Resistance state

    Synergy: 11% → 16% Damage Amplification to all party members excluding yourself within 750px for 10 sec. (Cooltime: 10 sec.)

    Additional 11% → 16% Damage Amplification to 4-Piece Set effect

    Condition: When attacking status affected enemies

    Synergy: 8% → 14% Damage Amplification to all party members excluding yourself for 10 sec.

    When attacking, there is a 10% chance to inflict one of Bleeding / Poison / Shock / Burn for 20 seconds.

    Legendary

    8 set option

    Condition: When attacking status affected enemies

    Synergy: 5% → 7% Additional Damage Amplification to all party members excluding yourself for 10 sec. (Max 10% → 14%)

    (Debuff stacks depending on the number of status ailments on the enemy, up to 12%)


    Epic

    4 set option

    Condition: When attacking status affected enemies

    Synergy: 10% → 16% Damage Amplification to all party members excluding yourself for 10 sec.

    When attacking, there is a 10% chance to inflict one of Bleeding / Poison / Shock / Burn for 20 seconds.

    Condition: When attacking status affected enemies

    Synergy: 6% → 8% Additional Damage Amplification to all party members excluding yourself for 10 sec. (Max 12% → 16%)

    1. So, if I'm understanding this correctly, Aeterna syn is effectively getting the old built-in Synergy 34% (or equivalent) added to them? Or is it [some ratio] of adding that synergy buff to Aeterna + buffing old Synergy classes + dropping endgame dungeon and raid HP? I wish I could understand these numbers lol

      1. From my understanding, synergy removal means the 34% is gone. Since we lost that big damage buff, they buffed affected class + buff aeterna + decreased the monster HP to make up for that. So yes, aeterna is pretty much the new "syn"
