[DFOlmanac] Potions

• Just like every MMORPG out there, potions play an important role in the game not only to heal but also provide other buffs. Here's a quick summary of potion, how to get them, and which one to use.

• For potions that recover HP and MP, they often share cooldown. So make sure you go to the training center to see which one share cooldown with which one.
• In the example below, Heavenly HP potion and Canna's Homemade Bread share the same cooldown because they both recover 30% HP.

• However, Canna's Homemade Bread doesn't share cooldown with Adventure Recovery potion even though both restore 30% HP because they have different description.

How to Get

• Buy from Cera Shop, they can be found under "Item" tab and "Dungeon" sub-tab. While they get the job done, I highly recommend you NOT get potion from here. There're other ways.

• From Neo Premium Vending Machine, her you use Neo Premium Token to as RNG slot machine. Often time you get lots of good potion. The down side is that these Tokens only drop in dungeons if you have Neo Premium Contract (which cost about $10 USD per month).

• From Arad Adventure system, this is a new mini-game added with Sirocco raid. While doing your adventure dungeons, you can encounter Gabriel's shop where you buy Mystery box from him. At the end of each month, I gather about 100-200 Recover Potions from this method.

• From events, Neople continuously give out free potions using event currency. So watch out for those. Here's an example.

• From Alchemy crafting, which is a profession that dedicate to making potions. DFO Wiki has a good page about this topic.

Which One to Use

• Beside the HP / MP potions, there are other ones that give you huge boost. The following are commonly used by veterans in end-game dungeons and raids.
• Warlord's Cry Potion: Attack damage +12% for 60 seconds
• Mind Stimulant Potion: Reduces the cooldown of all skills by 20% for 10 minutes.
• Undiluted Strength Potion: Boosts Strength by 175 for 30 minutes
•  Undiluted Intelligence Potion: Boosts Intelligence by 175 for 30 minutes
• Undiluted Vital Potion: Max HP will increase by 1850 for 30 minutes
• Undiluted Mana Nostrum: Max MP will increase by 1465 for 30 minutes
• Other non-dungeon potions that often used are:
•  Reinforcement Proficiency Formula: Increases your Reinforcement Success Rate for 30 minutes.
• Elixir of Fatigue Recovery: Recovers Your Fatigue Level by 30. (You can only use it once per day).
