Ghent Palace Farming: Should You Go Back After Finishing Unique Set?

  • Intended Purposes of Ghent Palace is a place for you to farm level 10 unique so you can start doing legendary dungeons. You can also get the weekly random card box as well.
  • So does it worth the time going back here for farming after you already get your unique sets?
What I did
  • Completed 200 expert runs
    • Clear all mini-bosses.
    • One free hell run per average 20 runs.
  • Sold all drops
  • Used Northpeace Token.png to buy weapon from NPC Lindsey Rossum
    • Weapon can be sold back for different price
    • Refer to DFO Wiki shop for their prices
    • Try to buy "big-heavy" weapon (e.g. Zanbato, Gauntlets, Hand Cannon). They worth 29,952 Goldicon.png
The Data
  • Raw Gold
    • Is the sum from selling all drops and unique weapons.
    • After each 20 runs, enough Northpeace Token.png can buy roughly 9 unique weapons and sold back for 269,568 Goldicon.png
  • Tradable Drops
    • Apparently Ghent Palace does NOT drop Time Crystal (Material).png
    • The only drop that worth any Goldicon.png is monster card
  • In term of character progression per 20 runs
    • Using Character 1 as example
    • Does not include monster card in this calculation
    • Time Gold
      • Time's Guide Stone.png price used was 101,400 Goldicon.png (July 26, 2020)
      • 15 Time's Guide Stone.png ⨉ 101,400 = 1,521,000 Goldicon.png
    • Free Hell
      • One hell =18 Time's Guide Stone.png
      • 18 Time's Guide Stone.png ⨉ 101,400 = 1,825,200 Goldicon.png
    • Total progression from each 20 runs
      • Total = Raw Gold + Time Gold + 1 Free Hell
      • About 4-5 million Goldicon.png worth of character progression.

Recommendation
  • Who should farm this?
    • New players coming back to the game
    • Gear requirement for expert is low, most players should be able to clear comfortably with level 100 unique, no reinforcement/refinement/enchants.
    • With the new 3rd Awakening events, many players will have plenty of alts to farm with.
  • When Should I farm this?
    • The raw gold does not worth the time if this is your main dungeon
    • Best to farm other dungeons first (e.g. Anton, 2+2, Dawning Crevice, Assault Mode) then use the rest of FP for Ghent Palace

  1. hello I don't understand where you get the price of the time guide stone gold

    1. The Time Guide Stone price is the same as Time Crystal. I know it's not tradable, but I do it that way to give you a theoretical value of how much progression you could have made in term of gold.

  2. massively late, is this better or worse than Disaster area?

    1. It's about the same level in term of gold earning. The advantage of Ghent is that you can farm on multiple characters, whereas Disaster Area has a 80 Terranium daily sale limit.
